Evidence: demonstrate that children as young as 2 months have explicit memories, associaions, kicking up their leg, etc. Showed explicit memory (not sure if it"s episodic or just a associaions: melfsot: 14 m/o and 24 m/o showed limitaion, an acin that they saw the day before would repeat it. Even children as young of 6 m/o, spontaneousouly perform the acion they saw the day before. Children younger than 3 y/o, are able to have autobiographical memory: autobio: i had this experience, i saw this, etc. Even at 21 months, emily was talking about episodes in her life, even 2 months before. She talked about her family"s car break down which had happened 2 months before which is great evidence that she stored and retrieved this episodic memory.
