Laws of planetary motion -- turned copernicus"s sun-centered system into a dynamic universe with sun pushing the planets around in elliptical orbit. Not just those things we think of as science. Made it clear that human reason was capable of. Reason would allow you: accepted the world as described by newton -- governed by laws and knowable through reason, order. According to these thinkers, order was heaven"s first order. They organized, codified, classified, systematized: freedom of the mind.
