Treatment = none but focus on trust and negative thinking. Schizoid pd: detachment from social relationships, restricted range of emotions. Treatment = not really but focus on relationships, empathy, and social skills. Schizotypal pd: social and interpersonal deficits, cognitive and or perceptual distortions and eccentric behavior. Might be early stage schizophrenia but no delusions or hallucinations. Antisocial pd: disregard for and violation of the rights of others. Borderline pd: instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, emotions and affect, and impulse control. Histrionic pd: excessive emotion and seeking attention. Narcissistic pd: grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy.
