Positive state in which you are fully immersed (lose track of time) Both highly rewarding (feel really good) but they do not notice that they are in it while it is happening. Occurs when both highly skilled at something & it is highly challenging. Important to understand where one particular person coming from -> emphasis on self-schema & how directly related to how think, feel, & act. How feel about selves directly related to how interact with world. People strive for more than just getting their basic needs met.
