Result- the teachers treated the students differently because they believed they were special and gave them the encouragement that they needed. At the end of the year all kids gained in iq, but those that were told they were special they got way better scores. Teachers acted warmer toward students they expected to do well (classroom climate, verbal and non-verbal)
