Parents and adolescent had opposing values- more different with themselves not opposing generations generations. Judy research would say that it is a definition issue- the room study. Social class- its hard to be with rich people when you aren"t- cant afford to go on a ski trip. Girls- friendship based- there is a lot of problems. Low peer- high adult- nerds ( aren"t necessarily smart) Low peer and low adult-druggie then tough (aggressive kid) Its nots not okay in elementary and middle you are acting according to the norms of the elememntyr school. As they moved through high school- they then high school- they then started to get less popular. Those that were low went up in popularity.
