When you drink a lot of alcohol you don"t get rem- why you get blackouts. Decrease in duration and depth of non- rem sleep. You don"t get to stages of sleep- as you get olde you sleep less and the big dorp is in puberty. If you get 5 the last rem is the longest about 90 min. Multiple sleep latency test (mslt) you take a lot of naps. Measure how long it takes you to fall. Measure how long it takes you to fall asleep. The fast you sleep the more sleep deprived you are.
