Parameter filter: memory affected by factors then affect declarative memory. Result: sucked more when linked with familiar voice. Declarative memory develop with age/later than implicit (less developed but begins to improve rapidly) Baseline: record how much the baby kicks when foot not attached to mobile. Learning: learn that kicking response cause mobile to move reinforcement. Test: take ribbon off mobile, if kick more than baseline remember connection. Independent variable manipulate the amount of time of between the learning trial & test trial. Russo et al experiment compared implicit to declarative. Task: ask children to id degraded pictures of object. Task: all words related but missing target word. Result of interest: how often people mistakenly recall having seen missing target word. Conclusion: older children are better at semantic processing.
