Step 1: children younger than 2 years old suffer from diarrheal deaths as a result of dehydration. Step 2: half of all infant deaths in egypt occurred as a result od diarrheal disease in 1977. Step 3: primary sources of transmission include unclean water, eating with dirty hands, and spoiled food. Children living in poor environments suffer the most from these primary sources of transmission. Step 4: the national control of diarrheal project of egypt was responsible for promoting the use of oral rehydration salts, promote proper use of treatments of diarrhea in children and training health professionals to treat that disease. Step 5: countries with a high rate of diarrheal disease should continue to spread knowledge about live-saving treatment methods to health professionals and mothers. Step 6: develop a plan to educate mothers and community members on how to effectively treat diarrheal disease in their children and how to prevent it.
