Summary: southern california school system are heavily segregated buy race, income, and language. Segregation can be seen in the following ways: Minority isolation: underrepresented minorities: blacks and latinos, minorities are isolated much more than they are supposed to be, ex: some schools are 25% white and thats the dominating race while at other schools its 90% black. Student exposure to other races: if you goto a school thats high in minorities your less likely to see white students and vice versa.
