What it means to write: writing is an ongoing process, although most people do not treat it this way, this class is designed to facilitate writing as process . Content/subject matter: what"re you trying to convey, the information is only as good as your communication skills; not only about throwing down words about a topic. Structure: structure the information in a coherent narrative. Organization within structure: what you do within that structure how you organize your thoughts. Your ability to explain and communicate relies on this last point. 1) figure out your best setting (time and place) for productive writing, then block it out. 2) begin scheduling that time for writing this paper with small goals in mind for each session. 3) be completely familiar with your materials before you begin writing: your literature review and your data and your memos and your analysis.
