Education key into the future.
All kids have talents, and society wastes it
Creativity is as important in the education system as literacy
Kids take chances, not afraid of being wrong.
If kids were afraid of taking chances or being wrong, then they will not come up with
anything original, kids lose the when they become adults. Humans criticize mistakes.
“educating people out of their creative capacities.”
Picasso said, “all children are born artists. The problem is to remain an artist as we grow
up.” Humans grow out of creativity. Humans “get educated” out of creativity.
Education system has mathematics and languages on top, then humanities, and the arts at
the bottom. Art/music is higher than drama/dance.
Purpose of public education is to make professors, are the top and curious
Education system is “predicated on the idea of academic ability.”
No education system before 19th century. Started to meet the “needs of industrialism.”
Degrees worthless.
Intelligence is diverse, dynamic, and interactive.
