The film begins with two 5 inches bright orange fish with white stripes, known as a clownfish, circle around each other in a pink flower-like plant that you discover to be their home. Marlin begins to discuss to his wife about how he wants the best for his children and they head over to the next of eggs that is right next to their home-like plant. They start discussing names and swim back to their close home. In regards to reverse shot, you see marlin and coral having a conversation in opposite directions and from the shot giving us an effect of marlin talking to coral. Marlin then admits that he is worried his children won"t like him, but coral spits back a snarky remark by saying there are over 400 eggs. Coral looks deep into the dark fish eyes and looks up and down at the cave where her children are nested.
