Women: wash from front to back to prevent contamination from anus. Men: if uncircumcised, pull back foreskin and wash glans and inner skin of foreskin. Wash hands and nails before and after sexual activity. Change sweaty clothes as soon as possible. Do not ignore the urge to urinate before sexual activity.
