Causative agent: hiv virus causes hiv (direct link) Most disorders are a combination of genetic/environment factors. Smoking is a risk factor will fall under etiology. Symptoms cannot be observed by others, the doctor must trust that the patient is actually feeling nauseas. Ex: fibromyalgia don"t really know why the patient has pain.
