Theory that terrorism has always been with us and always will be. while the concept has always been there the speci c attacks come and go. Like during ww1 and 2 due to their being so many deaths happening daily terrorism went out of a little since the attacks wouldn"t get publicity. War on terrorism is different than war on poverty and drugs because poverty has nobody ghting for it and drugs have an ongoing demand. Terrorism is caused by poverty and oppression but this isn"t true because looking at countries like haiti doesn"t support this claim but having lots of people in poverty does help recruit people since they have nothing/less to lose. Terrorism doesn"t play an existentialist threat on the u. s. but they have changed things in the way we live or on our everyday lives thats an existentialism threat.
