If you have a flux coming out of a sphere. Every 1 r (radius of sphere) you end up with the value squared number of tiles. The angle of the surface tilts away from the incoming light. We see that the surgace emits about 390 w/m^2. 350 w/m^2 is absorved by the atmosphere (greenhosue effect) and only 40 w/m^2 makes its way into space. 324 w/m^2 are emitted downwards fromt he atmosphere to the surface. Desserts in areas where you have falling air and tropical in areas with rising air.
