Gustave eiffel investing 5 million francs into this tower gave parisians a view they could"ve never seen. This was a kind of anticipation of bringing humans to a height they couldn"t have imagined. Allows they to perceive the city in a new way. Technology makes what we already live in kind of new for us. The same is true for all the posting and instagramming that all this new technology is re-enhancing our world. Concrete was always a construction material like iron.
