But this isn"t enough to get so much water. Early earth = thin crust = more eruption = more gas released > Eruption > ash in stratosphere > decrease in temperature. More violent eruption > finer particle of ash > more suspended in atmosphere current. Lots of volcanic eruption = more water and ash in atmosphere. Lower temperature = lower water saturation in air = rain = water on earth.
