Attempts to centralize the relationship into the hands of the royal officials between the native americans and the british empire. From the colonial perspective, they had fought the war so that they could get more land. Rationale is that they didn"t want another war with the indians. From the colonial perspective, the fact that an army was going to stay in america after the war pushed all kinds of buttons.
