The end of the witch craze in western eurpoe comes around the 1660s- 1670s. the same people who started the witch craze begin to not believe its real. Newton was someone who believed in witches. The burning of the witch, no matter where it was (usually in rural villages) was a form of theater (a theater of power) where you reiterate the power of which you rule. All these categories of learning/knowledge are all jumbled together during this time that they each encompass little pieces of each other.
