Night of broken glass kristallnacht november 1938: german jews in 1933. Jews are not social outsiders in 1933. Economically, culturally, linguistically, politically, professionally, they are integrated into the german mainstream and people. The nazi regime makes german jews into social outsiders . Very small minority, in certain places they are visible where they are concentrated. Many german jews had married non jews. Blaming jews for things that have damaged germany- communism as well as capitalism and the excesses that came with it- radical and experimental culture, as well as liberalism. Assumes that jews are a race and a kind of germ that will infect the healthy body that is the german nation. Hitler"s argument that solution to this problem is an internal war. Making jews social outsiders is a racial war. Initiated by goebbels- calls upon aryan germans to initiate comprehensive boycott of jewish businesses. Part of the april laws of 1933.
