War doesn"t end with the surrender of the axis powers- hangover of the war. After allied victory, they have to handle difficult question of the vast numbers of displaced persons and survivors across europe. Liberations mostly done by soviet troops, many involved were shocked by the trauma and not prepared to come to terms with the need of the survivor community. The term displaced persons specifically refers to jewish survivors, erases their history and the fact that they are referring to jews and that particular forces caused these people to be displaced.
