Voice comes from the diaphragm. Where is the piano’s “diaphragm”? Where
does the amplification come from?
Playing pieces of Grieg, listen and note how a piano is a piece of engineering
made of steel and wood. From a piece of technology we can evoke emotion:
love, fire, motion
Bach piece...The expressiveness of the playing is where the feeling is evoked
A good musician is never satisfied!
