Khufu wanted to be known as a name and power without a face. 3 giant pyramids for the kings were surrounded by smaller pyramids meant for the queens. Trying to find power through monuments of power. Titularies help the pharaoh represent himself to the elites. Khufu wanted only the close elites to see him. Showing his face would be a sign of weakness for him.
