I knew i was taking college summer classes that next summer and that was stressful. An example when i experienced distress was when i quit my job 2 weeks ago. An example of problem focused coping was when i had a huge list of things to do. I spent a whole day on that list but each time i marked something off i felt relief. An example of emotion focused coping was when i have finals. One thing they have in common is that they deal with stress and something happening to bring on that stressor.
