In general terms, sex refers to the biological differences between males and females, such as the genitalia and genetic differences. Gender conflict applies principles of conflict theory to relations among genders, social structures perpetuate gendered inequalities. Exogamy marriage to someone with characteristics dissimilar types of family structures: violence, how do sociologists define family, group of people who are related by descent, marriage, or adoption. Focus in this relationship was on the maintenance of the marriage itself.
