Shallow, rapid respirations or slow and effortless. Assess skin, nail beds and lips for appropriate color/perfusion. Auscultation of anterior & posterior breath sounds. C/o substernal pain made worse by coughing. Auscultation reveals wheezing after cough and/or rhonchi/rales.
