Chapter 2: the nature of self-knowledge, the authors present one perspective that early psychology inherited from philosophy. Individuals who are very introspective should be the most accurate source of knowledge regarding what they will do and why: the a(cid:272)(cid:272)ura(cid:272)y of one"s knowledge should (cid:271)e therefore solely dependent on the person"s self refle(cid:272)tion. Introspection and accuracy: cultural and societal contstraints on the experience and expression of certain emotions, anger. They construct a a narrative that allows to maintain their goals, explain how they change: the structure of self knowledge.
