Zeus killed his wife and decided to take care of the child inside of him. Zeus got a headache, his brother cracked his head opened, athena (goddess of wisdom) was born zeus was relieved. It gives an explanation of where athena came from. Why athena has a father but no mother. The time this story was told was early in time when life was precarious. Mythologia: thinking about a mythical story that happened in the past. Hymn: something that celebrates a god"s power. God of prophecy (telling humans something the gods want)
