Your resume is a series of arguments followed up by evidence. Your resume is an argument, so make sure you know the purpose, audience, stakeholders, and context. Think about your goals and situations of your resume. Identify what information readers need, and make sure they can access that information easily and be able to understand it fully. Document must be usable, so consider not just how it will be read but how it will be used. Your name needs to be prominent at the top. Perhaps add a graphic element like a horizontal line to section it off from rest of the resume. May want to create a letterhead or stationary to coordinate with cover letter. Contact information should include address, email, phone number, web address (if applicable) Placement on page depends on whether your education is the strongest qualification and the amount of relevant experience you have. Company/organization name, location, title, dates of employments, description of activities/responsibilities/ duties.
