There was an ancient city they called carthage -- Two leaders both refugees, both founders of great empires. Two leaders start an affair but they cannot work together because their people will always be enemies. Contra: facing/ across from: rome, carthage, and the mediterranean. Punic: an adjective, meaning things having to do with carthage and its empire. Carthage is the first empire to gain a lot of territory.
