Slamecksans did not do those things and were more liberal, didn"t want a king, had more power, Same w/ wigs and tories (tories conserv, wigs radicals) (wigs want less parliament, tories want more) Louis xiv banned non-court people from wearing high-heeled shoes. Women wore high heels to become more masculine and have more political influence and respect (especially in salons) Prostitutes wore chopine/zoccoli which was a weird af heel/platform thing.
