Hebrew --> messiah had everlasting dominion on earth. Christian reinterpretation of "eschaton" (from end of human time to end of time in which sinfulness governs humans) End of times would come and bring a new and better time. From the latin word gentilis, meaning "of the nation" Allows human beings to be in line with god. Followers font have to be jewish to be purified by jesus.
