America is invented, not discovered. america is a geographic place, it is also an imaginative construction. In 1750, there were no national boundaries yet. The new world to the europeans this was new but the native americans had been there for so many years. o. Na was very densely populated with native americans. Parts of the east coast look as the way we know them, even the areas like the mid atlantic are pretty accurate. Huge parts of na were unknown to europeans and therefore looks vast and uninhibited. Waterways that would take them to the spices, sulks, and riches in far east asia. Queen elizabeth i, the virgin queen is in power. Shakespeare is also alive and writing in this time. On of the most politically powerful empires was the ottoman. This is the way commercial goods were transported, germs, and people. It is not until the mid 19th century roads were created.
