I am not technically guilty of ignoring cooking temperature, as i always ensure i am setting my oven to the correct temperature when i am cooking something, but i do not consistently use a food thermometer. I may not have been as aware of this because i am so used to eggs being cooked on a skillet rather than in dishes in the oven. However, i do hope to be more cognisant of my cooking temperatures after doing this lab in class today, and learning how important it is to watch over the temperature which you cook your food at. I love black bean burgers, and recently made a very simple recipe at home that had about five ingredients, and one of the main ingredients was quick oats.
