"the transformation of silence into language and action" (lorde) Any type of movement today will relate because everyone wants their voice heard and to fight for what they believe in. whether that be the #metoo movement, students walking out of schools in florida, black lives matter, etc. How do you keep people from getting bored and forgetting the issue. On campus, many events are held to spread awareness and messages about the situation. Posts on social media can be encouraging at first, but can later get too overwhelming and the person may lose interest. However, posting messages about how others are helping in the movement can be empowering. Documentaries are filmed and shown to create a sense of fear within the reader about the situation. Fear is arguably a very strong asset in making sure your message is being heard and remembered.
