Human beings are developing systems in the context of other developing systems. As you are developing other people who are helping you develop are developing also. Changing one component of the system has an effect on all parts of the system. Ex- stone in your shoe(professor asks you to wear a stone in your shoe the whole semester. Bio- walking differently, pain, throw off hip alignments, nutrition, sleep, ect. Social- ask to go get coffee- say no, wouldn"t do more walking then you had to. - affects muscle tissue, body tone, parent frustration- say no. Social development- stay close to parents, hear conversation leading to learning words, sense of mastery. Describe how you are in a professional terms( your developmental status, abilities and challenges) Explain development( why are you he way you are) in professional terms. Predict development (what you may become, given what and where you aren now) Know and understand the stuff that matters .
