A&e - oral-fecal route, sex, household contamination, salad bar, bottom feeding seafood, undercooked seafood. C, b, d - blood and sexual transmission. Chronic persistent - benign; few symptoms but you feel like crap; minimal necrosis. Chronic active - progressive liver destruction with cirrhosis, chronic liver failure and can go into death: cirrhosis of the liver, highly associated with alcohol ingestion, definition and pathophysiology. Hepatic scarring caused by inflammation in the liver; produces ischemia which kills out sections of the liver and alters function.
