Ideas are not more real, than the material world. Ideas are not the ultimate source of change because we are flesh and blood human beings. The material world is real because it is created by the human beings that have worked hard into it and put so much effort: labor is the essence of human beings. According to hegel it is mental labor, however, according to marx it is defined as manual labor. According to marx labor is manual because humans work hard with sweat for it with little wages. However, hegel thinks that it is mental labor because the individuals need to work their brain in order to perform the job well: religion: marx rejects the religious motif in hegel"s connotation.
