A new ruling system based on coregency was introduced to protect the ruling line from rival claimants to the throne. (first co-regent: senwsert i) Strong domestic and foreign policies were implemented to prevent internal strife and protect the country from outside threats. Foreign policies: they don"t wait to be attacked by the desert people so they fortified egypt defenses.
