Heracles followed the noises of the cattle to cacus cave. Cacus attacked heracles by spewing fire and smoke; heracles strangled him. Heracles founded an altar where he killed cacus: forum boarium=cattle market of rome, annual sacrifices to heracles. In liguria, he was attacked by giants albion and bergion. Heracles prayed his father zeus for help and knelt under his aegis. In this kneeling position, he was portrayed in his constellation. Eurystheus didn"t accept two labors in wh/heracles was helped by someone else: 2 (hydra)>>iolaus, 5 (augean stables)>> the rivers. Heracles was required to carry out 2 other quests: stealing the golden apples of the hesperides, capturing cerberus. Daughters of the evening , nymphs of the west .
