POLS 3700 Lecture Notes - Execution By Firing Squad, Execution Chamber, Organ Transplantation

9 views2 pages
The son of Glen Ernst Lich, Stephen Lich, chose to attend the execution of his father’s
murderer without knowing what kind of emotion he would feel afterwards. As he watched the
person who wronged his father and family finally get punished, Stephen Lich stated that he had
finally confronted the horrible thing that had brought such grief into his life, and walked out

family member through the criminal justice process. By viewing the execution, they would get a
sense of relief and justice knowing that the one who wronged their family would not harm
