Dracula performed on presidium stage: pro-skene. Greek term: 67% of american theatre are presidium theatres. A lot of actors can be on stage at one time: 4th wall. Imaginary wall that acts like a viewing glass. Audience looks through the 4th wall they"re looking through a picture frame. Helps the audience focus on a point: house. A place where audience are at before they get seated: stage house. If a presidium is 25 ft high, the fly house is 50 ft high. The right side of the stage if you"re facing towards the audience: stage left. The left side of the stage if you"re facing towards the audience: upstage. The end closest to the back wall: downstage. The section near the end of the stage. Stage managers: is in charge of the stage during the show. House managers: make sure the audience are taking care of.
