Thea sect 7 note: the style of the play is set in victorian era. Victorian era = dark/evil: when dracula came to broadway. It started america fascination for vampires: greg boyd loves b-movies. Dracula personality is kinda like a b-movie character: in paper, explain why they researched about door thickness and minor set specs. Title role = title based on character name: ex: dracula. In paper, talk about how suspension of disbelief and when really kicks in during the play. A good actor can make anyone believe that the character is real. A actor can play 10-15 years within his/her age. Hire actor base on talent: tv/film. It"s hard to see the same actor act as several different characters. Film is trying to make the actor famous to sell more tickets in the future. Actors are chosen to specifically play a role (good/evil) An actor can play within 5 years of his/her actual age.
