Cultural harmony: ideas of the dominant social group that controls culture, ex. government, business, media, create fear- media keeps afraid. Intimidation - police: distraction - conversation with michelle obama cut for justin bieber being arrested in florida, divide and conquer- keep half people with other half fighting at all times.
