Based on the needs of a human. Large droopy ears, wrinkles, wider nose to account for larger nasal passages. Not built for speed, meant to be with a human companion. Eyes, stays positioned looking at the target. Gets the target once it is taken down by humans. Acts as a decoy so the human can sneak up on it. Flush the animal out of the grush so the human doesn"t. Guarding flocks or herds and are raised with livestock. Acts as a natural protector from other animals. These dogs deter the predator not fight with them! Moves livestock based on the commands of the human. The dog does need to think independently and react to the herd without commands. Heelers are a type of dog that nips at the heels of cattle to get it to. Helps owners move large cargos by pulling these carts from pt a to pt b. Also used for sport like dog sledding.
