1: explain why positive reinforcement is the preferred method of teaching an animal a new behavior. Positive reinforcement is the most effective method of training. Rewarding an animal for every repetition of the right behavior makes the learning of those behaviors occur much faster because they know they"re getting something good out of it, like a treat. And as you reward the treats less, the animals will try to do it better and better in order to get their reward. 2: exercise is very important for our pets. Please explain the basics of how to teach your animal to walk on a leash using positive reinforcement so that you may take them on adventures. In order to train your animal to walk nicely on a leash, you need to take baby steps to get them there. First you must get them used to being on a leash at all, teaching them to sit and stay while outside, not moving yet.
