In order for you to know something is wrong with your pet, first you must know what is normal for them! Please describe how you will perform an at home physical exam. Make sure to include what parts of the body you need to check, and what are some signs something may be wrong with your pet. To perform an at-home physical exam, you need to start by having your pet in a relaxed, stress-free environment. You need to start by looking at the nose and eyes and if they have discharge, or inconsistencies. Look at their pupils and if they"re symmetrical, the whites of their eyes and if they"re white or red. Look at their mouths to see if their gums are pink, if there"s plaque or tartar on their teeth, if their tongue is clear, the roof of their mouth is pink and healthy, and if their gums are inflamed.
