Citizens united no limit on campaign contributions, as they constitute speech protected under the first amendment. President: head of state and head of government. Congress may override the veto, with 2-3 of votes in each house. Appoints federal judges and supreme court judges, subject to confirmation by the senate. Bills may be introduced in either house, except for revenue bills, which must originate in the house of representatives. Congressional oversight and investigation powers: publicize their proceedings and results, and compel testimony.
